Learning Agreements
According to Education Code (51747), every Riverside Virtual School (RVS) student is required to sign a Learning Agreement. The signed document is necessary for reporting attendance to the State of California. The agreement must be signed by the student, parent/guardian, and supervising teacher (and all other teachers for Middle and High School) for continued enrollment in RVS.
To facilitate signing the document easily and efficiently, we have created an easy way for all parties to sign the agreement electronically. Our system creates your Learning Agreement and sends a PDF file as an attached to the student's email. Once the file is opened you should be prompted to open the file in Kami. Open the file in Kami and use the Signature feature to sign the document. Both student and parent/guardian must sign the agreement. RVS teachers will be sent a link to the Learning Agreement for their signature.
