RUSD Early Childhood offers Full Day / Part Day Head Start, State Preschool and Subsidized Preschool programs for children ages 3-4 years at 19 different sites across the district.

Twenty-five Riverside Unified students earned a total of 31 awards, including 20 gold medals, at the 2026 Riverside County Science and Engineering Fair on February 28.

Three Riverside Unified School District (RUSD) high schools earned one of four semifinal spots in the 44th Annual Riverside County Mock Trial Competition, with Martin Luther King High School advancing to compete in the championship round.
