Riverside Virtual School Families,
Welcome to the 2022-23 school year! We are excited to begin another year of innovative and personalized education through a unique model of education.
We are excited to offer "Trailblazer Orientation" according to this schedule. Orientation will provide parents and students with important information about achieving success in a virtual model. Students will also take their yearbook photo and pick up their Chromebook, textbooks, digital writing tablet, grade level school supplies, and a free T-shirt! You will also have the opportunity to meet RVS administrators, some of the grade level teachers, and future classmates.
Our elementary teachers are excited to meet you on our Virtual Back to School Night on August 11th at 5:00 pm. Our middle school teachers plan to offer Parent Teacher Conferences on September 21st.
This year we are going to offer many more community events, such as park days, movie nights, and family fun days. We hope you can join us!
Before your child can begin at RVS, all students and parents are required to sign the RVS Learning Agreement. This year, you can digitally sign the Learning Agreement as part of the yearly Aeries Data Confirmation process, which is a fancy term for updating all your contact information. We expect that you can complete all required documentation starting on July 15th.
RVS is a unique model, but has proven successful for many students. We are thrilled to to partner with you on the journey and look forward to the opportunity to build on last year's success.
