I would like to welcome you to Riverside Virtual School, home of the Trailblazers! I am excited about the school program that our Trailblazer staff have put together to provide a high-quality education for our students. For the 2022-2023 school year our focus will be “Trailblazers are VISIBLE”. We will encourage our RVS students to be visible with their demonstration of learning, participation, and supports to ensure that all students are successful.
We are proud to be a fully accredited school program offering courses that use the same curriculum, textbooks,
and pacing as courses from our in-person schools. RVS Trailblazers have the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of courses and programs that include: Student Government, Yearbook, AVID, Game Design, Culinary,
and a course of study that will meet the A-G requirements for college admissions.
Trailblazer staff are working hard to ensure that our students have many of the same experiences students had
while attending an in-person school. Students have access to activities that include dances, clubs, student organizations, and other activities. Students also have the ability to participate in athletics and band at their
school of residence.
We have a phenomenal teaching staff dedicated to providing rich learning experiences for our students. Trailblazer teachers work together to design and refine lessons and use instructional strategies to enhance student learning. We are dedicated to equitable practices to ensure every student has the ability to learn and succeed.
