Dear RVS Trailblazer Parents and Students,

Welcome to a brand new school year at Riverside Virtual School! I’m thrilled to be starting another exciting year as your Assistant Principal and to continue supporting our incredible students and families.

As RVS Trailblazers, we lead the way in innovation, perseverance, and student-centered learning. I can already feel the momentum building for what promises to be an inspiring year filled with new opportunities, personal growth, and academic success.

This year marks my 33rd year in education and my 20th year serving the Riverside Unified School District as both a district and school site administrator. Throughout my career, I’ve been deeply committed to ensuring that all students have equitable access to a meaningful education. That focus continues to drive everything I do here at RVS. I believe every student deserves the opportunity to thrive, and I’m honored to walk alongside you as we help our young learners do just that.

These four pillars guide our school culture and help each student grow not only academically, but also as thoughtful, responsible members of our learning community. Whether attending live sessions, completing assignments, or participating in-person at school activities, we encourage every Trailblazer to rise to these expectations and lead by example.

When I’m not working, I’m likely spending time with my two precious pups, a spunky Yorkie Mix and a sweet Maltipoo, both 6 years old and full of personality! They remind me daily about the importance of balance, playfulness, and care, values I also carry into my work with students and families.

I look forward to connecting with each of you, whether virtually or in person, and to the exciting journey ahead. Let’s make this year one of growth, community, and success. Together, we’ll continue to blaze new trails and build a strong foundation for the future.
